There are lessons can we take from this incident. Career success and the abundance of things not guarantee a person will live happily in this world. End life with suicide indicates that one does not get the happiness of life. To be happy, someone need to feel safe, needed a place to actualize themselves, need a guarantee of happiness, and others.
To be able to achieve all that there is only one way to do, is to believe and practice the teachings of Islam. Why? Islam teaches us that success and happiness of life is not measured by the amount of wealth and career success. Islam guides the people to keep happy life. And happiness can be obtained when someone actually practice, enjoy and live the teachings of Islam.
When suicide becomes the main feature in the society, and continues to increase and threaten the civilized world, certainly this is very alarming. The number of suicides exceeds the number of those killed in the war illustrates that this is a serious problem.

In this case one might need to quote the words of God:
مَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا مِنْ ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنْثَى وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَلَنُحْيِيَنَّهُ حَيَاةً طَيِّبَةً وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْرَهُمْ بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ (النحل الآية :97)
Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer - We will surely cause him to live a good life, and We will surely give them their reward [in the Hereafter] according to the best of what they used to do.
The essence; in order to achieve a good life, people should believe in God previously. Then as people who believe Allah he should do good.
